For the fruit of Cucurbitaceae bitter gourd. Harvested after autumn, sliced and dried or used fresh. Dried slices of bitter melon, oval or oblong, sometimes with seeds in the middle or holes left after the seeds fall off. Crisp and easy to break. The smell is slightly bitter. It is better to have green edges, white flesh, thin slices and few seedlings. |
